Peonies – and Perennials to Plant in Fall! 

As we move into fall, and we’re still enjoying some warm days, but cooler nights. So now is the time to consider adding perennials and flowering shrubs that will add color and beauty to your landscaping.

Planting in fall, is, most often a perfect time to plant and allow the plant to become established for next the next year’s growing season.  In general, plants with shallow, fibrous root systems can be planted more easily in the fall than those with fewer, larger roots.

Add some interest to your patio with lovely terrariums!  This month, Heritage Hill Nursery is offering 25% off of all terrariums with the coupon. 

Additionally we have a special offer on Forsythia Bushes – 20% off!  A wonderful addition to the landscape.

Your Forsythia will add a dramatic flair to your yard. Forsythia bushes are among the first plants of spring to burst forth in flower.  Make sure your forsythia bush gets at least six hours of sunlight a day. While it can tolerate less than this, your forsythia’s ability to flower will be reduced if it does not get full sun. They should be planted where the soil is well drained, but they also like to have a considerable amount of water regularly, about 2″ per week. Fertilize with a balanced fertilizer every 2 to 3 months.
