Vision in Pink Astilbe

Our spotlight turns to the Vision in Pink Astilbe. This plant has a clear soft pink plume that would light up any garden that has a shady spot in it from mid to late Summer. The Astilbe is admired for an attractive foliage and the elegance of its plumes. It adds a fern like texture to your garden beds well after most blooms have faded away.

Visions in Pink Astilbe plumes give a striking contrast against a coarser textured bluish green foliage. The mid-Summer blooming are a great idea for containers or borders or even gardens that are located at the edge of woodlands.
They do require a well-drained soil that also stays moist and is highly organic. This particular Astilbe is a lot more tolerant of sun and drought than other Astilbes. For the greatest amount of color and enjoyment, mass them in groups in a partly shaded garden. You will be thrilled with its brilliance.
