Purple Prince Crabapple

A Purple Prince Crabapple is a hardy Crabapple that has a massive flowering display in the Spring and abundant fruit display through the Fall in Winter seasons. An abundant display of red rose flowers in mid-Spring for nature’s color fest. Then, this tree very easily shows off the best purple foliage of all the flowering Crabapples. Finally, the showy maroon fruits develop on the branches and hang for the Fall and Winter seasons.

The Purple Prince Crabapple has a mature height and spread of 15-18′ and appreciates full sunlight. It adapts to a variety of soil, so it is not too picky in that area. It is a great enhancement to any landscape project and would work on a street-side under utility wires. It is very adaptable and attractive to look at year-round.
