Perennials
It’s a great time to divide most of your perennials! Avoid mums & asters though.
Shrubs
Clean out your shrub beds to eliminate unwanted animals’ habitat.
Trees
Transplant! Cooler temps mean a lot less watering and an easier time for a tree to establish itself.
Lawn
It’s the best time to plant if you do it before September 22. Don’t plant after that though or Winter will kill it.
