While this selection adds great color to the garden, it might be the texture it provides in the form of frilly, deeply cut foliage that will really catch your eye. ‘Lime Marmalade’ is an aggressive grower and aggressive about getting your attention with that unique foliage that emerges and forms a beefy rounded mound in April and that striking lime green to chartreuse foliage color that will light the darkness of any shady landscape spot. Like all Heuchera, ‘Lime Marmalade’ sends up thin flower stalks above the foliage with buds that bloom in May and June with white flowers that are attractive yet will still take a backseat to this plants color and texture. ‘Lime Marmalade’ prefers partial sun to full shade and is fabulous grouped in the ground or interspersed with other perennials in a planter to add that needed zing of color and texture

| Growth Tips | Heucheras are easy perennials to grow and fit nicely in the front of any border, rock garden, or container. They grow most vigorously and have the strongest colors when grown in partial shade (preferably afternoon shade). They can also be grown in full shade but their growth rate will be very slow. Some varieties can withstand full sun in northern climates if they have consistent moisture, but their colors tend to fade with the intensity of the sun. |

Understanding Plant Pot Sizes
When you’re choosing plants, you’ll often see sizes listed as #1, #2, or #3 containers. These numbers refer to the volume of the pot, not the age of the plant.
#1 Pot – Holds about 1 gallon of soil. These are small starter plants, great for tight spaces or filling in around larger features.
#2 Pot – Holds about 2 gallons of soil. A medium size that balances affordability with faster establishment in the landscape.
#3 Pot – Holds about 3 gallons of soil. These larger plants give more immediate impact and tend to establish quickly.
Bigger pots generally mean more mature root systems, but the right choice depends on your project goals, timeline, and budget.
