In fact, this little gem is the perfect storm of dense, neat plant form, incredible foliage color that excites throughout the growing season, and superb flower color that seems to intensify the foliage color. ‘My Monet’™ is sure to be a favorite for its ability to provide luscious color in the landscape for a long period without hogging precious space with its mounding, dense form. Even better, it’s a plant that is a customer magnet… it’s just so cute and so attractive, it will sell from spring to fall and will be one of your best impulse sales items. This sport of Weigela ‘Tango’ features deep green foliage with creamy white edging that is infused with varying intensities of pink. Deep reddish-pink flowers add to the mix in late May through June but they are hardly necessary with the cacophony of color already present. ‘My Monet’™ is easy to grow, love full sun and makes an outstanding grouping anywhere in the landscape.

| Growth Tips | Prefers well drained soil but is adaptable to many soil types. It is best to prune right after flowering ceases, but pruning is rarely needed. Slow growth rate. Will continue to flower sporadically on the current season's growth. Medium moisture. Browning leaves in early fall are a result of the plant going into dormancy earlier than most weigela. This is a benefit letting the plant shut down earlier and prepare for winter. In southern states, plant in a partial shade location. |

Understanding Plant Pot Sizes
When you’re choosing plants, you’ll often see sizes listed as #1, #2, or #3 containers. These numbers refer to the volume of the pot, not the age of the plant.
#1 Pot – Holds about 1 gallon of soil. These are small starter plants, great for tight spaces or filling in around larger features.
#2 Pot – Holds about 2 gallons of soil. A medium size that balances affordability with faster establishment in the landscape.
#3 Pot – Holds about 3 gallons of soil. These larger plants give more immediate impact and tend to establish quickly.
Bigger pots generally mean more mature root systems, but the right choice depends on your project goals, timeline, and budget.
