ROSA `ABOVE AND BEYOND`

$56.99

This is a truly unique climbing rose for cold climates. Above and Beyond™ combines extreme cane hardiness, reliable spring flowering, vigorous growth and a unique color in hardy roses. Orange flower buds open in prolific clusters of five or more apricot colored semi-double to double flowers. Plants bloom in mid-to-late spring with sporadic repeat flowering in summer. With extreme cane hardiness, Above and Beyond™ can be a climber or a nice large free standing shrub in colder regions where plant dieback from cold is not an issue. Very resistant to fungal diseases. Bred by Dr. David Zlesak.

Growth Tips To keep your Above and Beyond™ Rose looking its best, once the spring blooms are done, give it a good prune in the summer to encourage fresh growth and keep its shape. Water it moderately—enough to keep the soil moist but not soggy. A balanced NPK fertilizer will help keep it healthy and blooming beautifully. This rose is perfect for colder climates and works well either as a climbing plant or a large shrub. With its vibrant apricot flowers and hardy canes, it';s sure to be a standout in your garden.

Understanding Plant Pot Sizes

When you’re choosing plants, you’ll often see sizes listed as #1, #2, or #3 containers. These numbers refer to the volume of the pot, not the age of the plant.

#1 Pot – Holds about 1 gallon of soil. These are small starter plants, great for tight spaces or filling in around larger features.

#2 Pot – Holds about 2 gallons of soil. A medium size that balances affordability with faster establishment in the landscape.

#3 Pot – Holds about 3 gallons of soil. These larger plants give more immediate impact and tend to establish quickly.

Bigger pots generally mean more mature root systems, but the right choice depends on your project goals, timeline, and budget.
