Our Story
It all began in 1993, when a young man named Jason Pederson took a summer job with a landscape design and maintenance company. It didn’t take long for him to realize: this was more than just a job—it was a calling. He found joy in growing things, working outdoors, and seeing homes and gardens transformed through thoughtful planting and natural beauty.
Jason pursued a degree in Landscape Horticulture while continuing to gain hands-on experience in the field. Years later, that early passion came full circle.
In 2006, Jason and his wife Donna launched Heritage Hill Nursery, Inc. after purchasing equipment, inventory, and an established customer base from Jason’s mentor, who was retiring from his own business. While the original company name was not transferred, this transition provided a strong foundation for their new venture. A few short years later, in 2011, they moved Heritage Hill Nursery to its current location in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, where the business has continued to thrive and grow ever since.
We believe in sharing what we know, giving our customers the tools and confidence to succeed, and helping our community grow—literally.
